Updated 20.8.2013

Bass player, singer & accordionist Luis Herrero joined Luotetut miehet -band (="The Trustees") which is the current group of the Finnish rock icon and former YUP-frontman Jarkko Martikainen. The band has been touring since January 2014. They have released a christmas single "Jollen pääse jouluksi kotiin" (2015) an an EP called "Kierrätyspiste" (2016). A new full length album is to be relased in Autumn 2016.

Between 2008-2013 Luis played and co-wrote music in Mariska & Pahat Sudet (="The Bad Wolves"). They made two albums of gold record sales: Mariska & Pahat Sudet (Fried Music / Sony 2010) and Kukkurukuu (Fried Music / Warner 2012).

Luis played with Nerdee, Annika Eklund and Paleface, both on their albums and on their gigs. He's also worked as a session musician for Anna Abreu, Asa and Jenni Vartiainen. Luis has played on Finnish and international tours with various Finnish pop bands, such as The Crash.

Luis is the lead singer in the cover band Sallad and singer-bassist in the more acoustic group Über Aber. As a singer he has been fronting different orchestras, such as Finnish military bands.

Since 2008 Luis Herrero has done music and some supporting acting too in the children's theatre group TosiTeatteri. As a theatre musician he's been heard in Salo's Provinssi-teatteri and as a visiting singer-actor in Musical Theater Palatsi in Tampere.

You may hear Luis's singing and playing bass in a children's animation movie Eetu ja Konna (="Eetu & Toad", 2011), and he did a quick appearance in the documentary film Miesten vuoro (=Steam of Life, 2010).

With special warmth Luis wishes to mention one of his past bands, a power metal group named Wisard (later known as Craydawn), in which he sang lead vocals. Extra special warm wishes to guitarist and a dear friend Pekka Palmu :D
